Ok, it’s a wrap!  All this time, by the way, we have had lots of wonderful eating, and many (too many) drinking opportunities, with complimentary wine at dinner! Additional blogs entries will follow with photos of these events! During our on-ship (fortunately) days at sea, we also had excellent lectures of the history of the countries we were visiting, religions and the effect they had on countries, the Burmese campaign in WWII, and of course temple, temples, and more temples.  Notably Angkor Wat, one of the true highlights of the trip. But, things come to an end.  For JB, none too soon, since the fruit enzyme drink in Penang was doing its magic!  Plus the cough picked up possibly during the horse-cart ride in Bagan.  It was going around and you could hear numerous coughs here and there. We had another early flight on Saturday, March 14, getting up at 4 am to catch the bus to Singapore Changi Airport.  We only got lost once, but made our flight, and were on the way home at 9:30 am.  Flying east is never as fun in terms of jet lag, especially if you are coughing all night, or day, or whatever it is. But we both watched movies (Interstellar, The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything and JB (just for laughs) watched his old favorite Goodfellas again.  They even served free cognac (Carol was asleep)!  Not really, because neither of us slept at all on the whole way home – from Singapore to Seoul and then Seoul to SFO – about 24 hours in travel time – and then the 4 hour drive to Aunt Jane’s house in Fresno for a glorious reunion with our furry children.  That was STILL on Saturday, mind you.  On Sunday morning, we rolled out and got all that dog stuff back into the van and headed south.  Wonderful Aunt Jane sent us home with frozen containers of homemade vegetable beef soup, salad fixings, and other sundries too numerous to mention.  Not only was she a great dog minder, but she made sure we wouldn’t starve to death once we got home!  As if that were possible! Stay tuned for a wrap up over the next few days, and some impromptu photos from various events, along with additional pictures and movies. We are now at home in Idyllwild, California with our pups, Rosie and Louie, healthy, actually DOWN in weight after the excesses, and looking forward to our next trip! We wish you love, happiness and good health, and say ‘thank you’ for following us along with us on our SE Asia trip.  Happy Travels!
